Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as per UGC norms):

• Master's Degree in Physics/Applied Physics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever a grading system is followed) from a recognized Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Preferred to have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) accredited by UGC, in Physics.
• Candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges) Regulations, 2018 (as amended) shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
