Job summary

PhysicsWallah in India is seeking a passionate Faculty member for Coding & Artificial Intelligence for Grades 1–5. You will deliver engaging live and recorded classes, design activity-based lesson plans, and develop hands-on projects using Scratch, Blockly, MIT App Inventor, and beginner AI tools.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners, and experience with online teaching tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in AI, Coding, Robotics, or STEM Education will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience teaching Coding or STEM subjects to children aged 6–11 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live and recorded Coding & AI classes for students in Grades 1–5.
• Design interactive, activity-based lesson plans that promote creativity and logical thinking.
• Develop hands-on projects using platforms such as Scratch, Scratch Jr., Blockly, MIT App Inventor, and beginner-friendly AI tools.
• Introduce students to computational thinking, machine learning basics, image recognition, chatbots, and responsible AI concepts.
• Create worksheets, quizzes, coding assignments, and project-based assessments.
• Record high-quality educational videos and learning resources.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, Product, and Design teams to enhance learning experiences.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in Coding, AI, Robotics, and STEM education.
• Foster an engaging, supportive, and interactive virtual classroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in AI, Coding, Robotics, or STEM Education will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience teaching Coding or STEM subjects to children aged 6–11 years.
• Experience creating digital educational content is preferred.
