Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to support our manufacturing and logistics operations in Telangana. You will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors, and perform general and preventive maintenance of building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment.

The role requires reading blueprints and manuals, operating basic hand and power tools, and working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime with short notice.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance of building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment.
• Assist with equipment installs, completing work orders, determining / ordering materials and parts needed for repairs, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Participate in plant safety / accident prevention programs and follow all safe work practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment (e.g. mechanical and electrical systems as HVAC, sanitary, janitory facilities).

SHIFT SCHEDULE: 5:00AM - 1:30PM, Monday - Friday

• In your activities you will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors.
• You will perform general and preventive maintenance of building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment that may include cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• You will assist with equipment installs, completing work orders, determining / ordering materials and parts needed for repairs, and maintaining clean work areas.
• You will participate in all plant safety / accident prevention programs and follow all safe work practices in order to ensure a safe work environment.
• You will perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

• You have a strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude along with good communication skills.
• You have a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.
• You have knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• You can read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals.
• You are experienced with electrical systems (3 phase 480v) and motor controls.
• You have experience with HVAC, plumbing and fire control systems.
• You can climb stairs and ladders and are able to work from heights up to 45 feet.
• You can operate powered industrial equipment such as: forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• You can work in a refrigerated environment for extended periods of time and occasionally in extreme cold.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is

$48,080 - $66,110

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
