Job summary

Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is seeking an F&B Controls Executive in Mumbai to manage financial controls, cost analysis, and compliance within the Food & Beverage department. You will work with F&B management and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and cost optimization.

The role involves analyzing costs, managing inventory with POS systems, conducting audits, and preparing reports for senior management to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor F&B costs, including food, beverage, and labor expenses, to identify variances and implement corrective actions promptly
• Prepare detailed cost control reports and variance analyses to support management decision-making, budget forecasting, and strategic planning
• Manage and reconcile inventory records using POS systems and inventory management software to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies
• Develop and implement cost control procedures and best practices to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Conduct regular audits of F&B operations, including portion control, waste management, and pricing accuracy to identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with F&B managers and chefs to review menu costing, pricing strategies, and profitability metrics for continuous optimization
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all financial transactions, invoices, and supporting records for audit and compliance purposes
• Monitor compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and organizational policies to ensure operational integrity
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable recommendations
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate recording of F&B transactions and timely reconciliation of accounts
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements through data analysis, process optimization, and innovative thinking
• Train and support F&B staff on cost control procedures, inventory management, and compliance requirements to foster a culture of accountability
• Analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels
