Job summary

EY Parthenon’s VME Real Estate – SaT Manager role within Strategy and Transactions offers leadership in real estate valuation, modeling, and economics. You’ll drive investment analysis, valuation, and advisory services for developers, investors, lenders, and Fortune 500 clients worldwide.

As part of a global Real Estate practice, you’ll build complex financial models, contribute to business development, and mentor teams across Canada and beyond, while delivering strategic insights and capital

Qualifications

• Master’s in business administration (MBA) specialized in Finance.
• 9–10 years of direct work experience in real estate valuation projects; experience in commercial real estate, preferably with a focus on investment, capital markets, or transaction advisory.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, valuation methodologies, and investment drivers.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, and transaction support.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
• Experience with BIG4 accounting firm would be provided weightage.

Within SaT, Real Estate (RE) group is part of Valuations, Modeling and Economics sub-service line. Our RE practice provides real estate valuation, analytical services and other business advisory services to developers, builders, investors, lenders and Fortune 500 companies.

Your Key Responsibilities

• As a Manager in our Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Real Estate practice, you will execute on high-impact commercial real estate investment and transaction mandates. You will collaborate with a dynamic national team to deliver strategic insights and drive value for our clients across Canada.
• Work on a variety of real estate engagements with a strong focus on investment analysis, transaction advisory, and capital markets.
• Conduct valuation of commercial real estate assets and portfolios to support investment decisions, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
• Build, review, and maintain complex financial models to assess investment returns, deal feasibility, and capital deployment strategies.
• Advise on real estate investment strategies for both public and private sector clients, including portfolio optimization and asset repositioning.
• Analyze market trends, comparable transactions, and economic indicators to support investment underwriting and deal execution.
• Source, compile, and interpret financial and industry data from databases, public filings, and proprietary sources to support investment theses and transaction rationale.
• Support buy-side and sell-side real estate due diligence, including financial, operational, and market assessments.
• Monitor and interpret Canadian commercial real estate market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Prepare client-ready presentations and investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, pitch preparation, and relationship management.
