Senior Manager – Strategy (Digital/AI)

As part of our EY-Parthenon team, you will help clients shape their digital/ AI future by developing forward-looking growth and transformation strategies. Leveraging EY-Parthenon’s proprietary frameworks, you will guide clients on how best to invest in emerging technologies, optimize digital ecosystems, and unlock long-term value through innovation. This includes crafting market entry strategies, evaluating technology-led investment opportunities, and undergoing transformation.

The opportunity

Join EY-Parthenon’s dynamic Strategy team as a Digital/ AI Strategy Senior Manager, where you’ll lead transformative engagements that shape the digital future of global clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic digital initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to unlock growth, optimize operations, and create long-term value across industries.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and shape large-scale AI and digital strategy engagements focused on transformation, innovation, and enterprise-wide value creation across multiple sectors.
• Drive strategic vision by applying EY-Parthenon’s proprietary frameworks to assess digital maturity, conduct AI due diligence, identify growth opportunities, and design transformation roadmaps.
• Translate complex business-driven AI opportunities into actionable requirements aligned with enterprise data and technology architecture.
• Oversee and mentor cross-functional teams (8–12 professionals) to deliver high-impact digital and AI strategy projects.
• Define and implement go-to-market strategies, digital operating models, and technology investment plans for clients.
• Engage with senior global stakeholders to evaluate platform ecosystems, customer journeys, and digital capabilities.
• Lead business development initiatives, including client relationship management, proposal development, and opportunity identification.
• Drive thought leadership in digital strategy, focusing on GenAI, data monetization, and innovation frameworks.
• Champion firm-building activities such as hiring, mentoring, capability development, and global practice-building.
• Represent the practice in roadshows, leadership forums, and client workshops to showcase capabilities and drive market positioning.

Experience and Skills for success

• Expertise in AI & digital strategy planning & transformation roadmaps.
• Strong background in maturity assessment & benchmarking.
• Proven ability in value creation and opportunity identification.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, GenAI, IoT, Blockchain).
• Experience in strategic cost evaluation and business model redesign.
• Skilled in competitive/market assessment and whitespace analysis.
• Practice-building experience, including capability development and go-to-market planning.
• Ability to lead roadshows, client presentations, and thought leadership sessions.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and structured thinking.
• Demonstrated success working with global clients and cross-border teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 10–14 years of experience in AI/digital strategy consulting with a focus on digital transformation, technology roadmap implementation, and value creation.
• MBA or Master’s from a Tier 1 B‑School.
• Prior experience with Big Four or leading consulting/technology firms; candidates with strong tech consulting backgrounds are preferred.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in project management and innovation strategy
• Exposure to design thinking, MVP development, and platform ecosystem evaluation
• Advanced strategy roadmap design skills and experience in executive-level client engagements / pitches
