Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking an Experienced TSC Engineer in Bengaluru, India to strengthen our global Technical Support Center. You will act as a senior technical resource for complex diagnostics, analyze recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support.

The role emphasizes automation, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with Product Development, Quality, and content teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical support, diagnostics, quality, or related engineering functions.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, troubleshooting methodologies, and support processes.
  • Experience with process development, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of reporting and automation tools (Python, Power BI, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or training colleagues is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a global environment.

Responsibilities

Experienced TSC Engineer
Shape the Future of Technical Support

Are you passionate about solving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement? We are looking for an Experienced TSC Support Engineer who can combine technical expertise, customer focus, and innovation to strengthen our global Technical Support Center (TSC). In this role, you'll help improve processes, prevent recurring issues, and drive support excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior technical resource for complex diagnostic and support cases.
  • Analyze recurring technical issues and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the flow of Argus cases and contribute to reducing overall case lead times.
  • Coordinate cross-functional problem-solving activities involving technical support, development, and quality functions.
  • Contribute to investigations and provide data-driven recommendations for corrective actions.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the TSC support chain.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Identify systemic issues and proactively work to eliminate recurring support cases.
  • Participate in audits and quality reviews to strengthen support processes and case-handling standards.
  • Lead process improvement activities both locally and globally.
Quality & Knowledge Management
  • Conduct case quality audits and provide constructive feedback to support teams.
  • Lead global GDSP documentation activities and ensure knowledge is maintained and shared effectively.
  • Develop troubleshooting methodologies, best practices, and support playbooks.
  • Support validation activities for systems, content, diagnostic tools, and pilot programs.
Coaching & Team Development
  • Coach and support TSC team members in handling complex technical cases.
  • Deliver training and competency development activities for support coordinators and engineers.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for technical and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Development, Application Support, Content Teams, and Quality organizations.
  • Participate in forums such as field quality meetings (FQM), quality reviews, and global support communities.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned TSC work packages, Truck Dealer support issue related GDSP platform.
  • Represent the customer perspective and provide feedback that influences future product and support improvements.
