Job summary

Boeing India Private Limited is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer - Java to join our Bangalore team. You will work on full-stack development using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Angular, and modern web tech, delivering high-quality aerospace software.

Role requires hands-on experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Azure cloud, and strong testing with Jest. Relocation within INDIA is possible; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Full stack developer with excellent programming skills in Java 8+ (Core and Advanced), Spring Boot 3.x, Angular 12, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS
• Hands-on experience with message brokers; knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ mandatory for reliable asynchronous workflows and high availability
• Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in writing unit and integration tests using Jest
• Asynchronous Programming: callbacks, promises, async/await
• Debugging and Testing with browser dev tools and frameworks (Jest/Mocha)
• Version Control with Git for code collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex programming challenges
• Knowledge of Web APIs integration
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with Build/Deployment tools and languages
• CI/CD practices and tools
• Maven, Gradle and Shell scripting

Position Responsibilities:

Boeing Digital Services Technology India is currently looking for an Experienced Software Developer – Java to join the team in Bangalore, IN . This role is expected to support the organization with meeting product commitments, MVP milestones, and provide technical leadership. Participate in development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system‑specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under minimal direction.

Position Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate with other team members
• Demonstrated ability to create positive impact on customer by developing polished, cohesive, effective, and user‑friendly applications for large and complex aviation related systems
