A pharmaceutical company in Vadodara is seeking a professional to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices in Kilo Lab. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices in Kilo Lab.
• Prepare the area for batch production as per QA guidelines.
• Supervise equipment operation and maintain process parameters.
• Verify the availability of solvents and raw materials for production.
• Fill required data in Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
• Check critical process steps and maintain records.
• Report abnormal observations to Shift-In Charge.
• Conduct sampling activities and maintain records.
• Collect sample reports and process as per SOP or BMR.
• Handover charge to reliever and allocate work to operators.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Ensure personal protective equipment is worn and safety parameters are observed.
• Carry out other assignments from the Head of the Department.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Ensure compliances of Good Manufacturing Practices in Kilo Lab.

2. Prepare the area / section for batch production as per QA guidelines.

3. Supervise equipment operation in assigned production area and maintain critical process parameters as mentioned in Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

4. Ensure all solvents & raw materials required for the production activity are available in advance. Verify that correct Raw Material has been issued.

5. Fill all the required data in Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

6. Check critical steps of process and maintain records.

7. Promptly report any abnormal observation/activity, deviation, in process QC results to Shift-In Charge.

8. Carry out sampling activity as per sampling plan and maintain record.

9. Collect reports of samples and process the same as per SOP or BMR.

10. Take and handover charge to and from the reliever and allocate work to operators.

11. Ensure good housekeeping is maintained on the shop floor and surrounding areas and maintain records as per SOP.

12. Ensure personal protective equipment are worn by all employees and safety parameters are observed by plant operators and discipline is maintained.

13. Responsible to carry out other Assignment assigned by the Head of the Department from time to time based on qualification, Experience & Training.
