Job summary

Bharat Biotech International is seeking a hands-on cell culture specialist to join our research operations in Hyderabad. The role focuses on routine culture of mammalian adherent cell lines under aseptic conditions, monitoring morphology and viability, and maintaining accurate experimental records.

You will work with cell lines such as HEK293 and Vero, using CO2 incubators and biosafety cabinets, and may gain exposure to scalable culture systems and cryopreservation techniques.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mammalian adherent cell culture.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and biosafety cabinets.
• Experience with large-scale adherent culture systems and cryopreservation.
• Vaccine industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine culture of mammalian adherent cell lines under aseptic conditions.
• Monitor cell morphology, viability, and growth characteristics.
• Passage cells at appropriate confluency levels to ensure healthy cultures.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
• Hands‑on experience with mammalian adherent cell culture (e.g., MRC5, Vero, HEK293, or primary cell line).
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, biosafety cabinets, and CO2 incubators.
• Experience with large-scale adherent culture systems (T75, T175 roller bottles, Cell stacks/ Cell factories).
• Knowledge of cryopreservation and cell banking.
• Exposure to bioreactor-based adherent culture or microcarrier systems.
