Job summary

A logistics company in Mumbai is seeking a candidate to manage export documentation processes. The role includes tasks such as coordinating approvals for shipping documents and ensuring timely releases. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience, be fluent in English, and possess strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary range of 3-3.5 LPA.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Knowledge of operational procedures for handling import shipments, both Air & Sea.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on Bill of Lading drafts with shipping lines and customers.
  • Submit Shipping Instructions for Master Bills of Lading to various shipping lines.
  • Coordinate with exporters and shipping lines for timely release of House Bills of Lading and MBL.
  • Prepare HBLs using internal documentation software with accuracy.
  • Ensure all shipping documents are properly maintained and filed for record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies or issues related to documentation.

To handle and coordinate export documentation processes, including BL draft approvals, SI submission, and preparation of HBLs and MBLs, ensuring accuracy and timely release in compliance with customer and carrier requirements.

Job responsibilities
