Job summary

Lupin in India is looking for a Manufacturing Operator with 2–5 years of experience in a GMP environment. The role involves operating and cleaning production equipment, performing in-process checks, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and EH&S guidelines.

The candidate should have a Diploma or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering, with strengths in process excellence and stakeholder management. Training and line clearance experience are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP and data integrity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Comply with cGMP, GDP, data integrity and EH&S requirements.
• Operate and clean equipment as per SOPs for production activities.
• Maintain area and machines per GMP standards and perform line clearance during changeovers.
• Conduct in-process checks and record results in the appropriate documents.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and instruments.
• Attend cGMP/On Job/Functional training as scheduled.

Job description

• 1. Comply with all cGMP, GDP, Data integrity and EH&S requirement.
• 2. Conduct all activities as per the applicable SOPs.
• 3. Report any quality concern or suggestion for improvement to supervisors/ managers.
• 4. Manufacturing / processing of batches of assigned products under supervision as per instructions given in the BMR.
• 5. Operation and cleaning of equipment’s and accessories used in related production activities as per respective SOP.
• 6. Up-keeping area and machines as per GMP requirements.
• 7. Performing in-process checks as per respective BMR and recording of results in respective documents as applicable.
• 8. Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and instruments as per approved schedule and the results of same meeting the standards.
• 9. To perform line clearance activity during batch-to-batch and product to product change over and ensure the compliance as per SOP.
• 10. To handle the coating machine make ACG.
• 11. Trouble-shooting of coating related problem of machine and process as and when necessary.
• 12. To attend required cGMP/ On Job /Functional training activities as per planner.
