Job summary

Nivabupa is seeking a dedicated operations professional to oversee the B2B policy issuance lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will coordinate with underwriting, sales, and claims teams while maintaining IRDAI compliance and achieving service levels across daily workflows.

Leading a team, you will drive process improvements, generate MIS reports, and address escalations to support business goals.

Job Description

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensuring efficient and accurate processing of B2B Group policy issuance, coordinating with underwriting andsales teams, maintaining IRDAI compliance, managing daily operational workflows, improving service levels,handling customer queries, and supervising a team to meet performance goals. Key responsibilities includepolicy processing, team leadership, process optimization, reporting, risk mitigation, and compliance withcompany policies and regulations.

Execute the entire policy issuance lifecycle, from application and other documents scrutiny andinsured data upload into policy admin system, generation of master policy document and dispatchto customer.

Ensure all policy applications are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to defined servicelevel agreements (SLAs) and internal benchmarks. Coordinate with underwriting, sales, claims, Partner Onboarding, Finance and other departmentsto resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless policy issuance.

Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to policy issuance (e.g., turnaroundtime, error rates, volumes).

Prepare MIS/regular reports for senior management on operational performance, trends, andchallenges.

Address and resolve complex policy issuance queries and escalations from internal and externalstakeholders.

Ensure closure of open debit/credit balance by coordinating with cross functional teams withindefined timeline.

Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations (manageinternal/external audits)

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the policy issuance process and explore solutions forimprovement and develop automation tools for enhanced accuracy.

Utilize technology and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.
