A local café is seeking an experienced Event Planner to lead in conceptualizing and executing a variety of in-café events. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from developing event concepts to coordinating with vendors and ensuring customer engagement. Take the lead in conceptualizing, planning, and executing a diverse range of in‑café events including live music nights, interactive workshops, themed evenings, tastings, private bookings, and seasonal promotions. Develop comprehensive event plans with clear timelines and budgets. Ensure every event is executed efficiently, reflecting the café’s brand and enhancing customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local artists, performers, and event vendors. Coordinate logistics with third‑party service providers such as audio‑visual teams, decorators, and caterers to ensure all aspects of the event are professionally handled and meet required standards.
Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional strategies across social media, email campaigns, in‑store signage, and community outreach. Create and manage engaging content and promotional materials, both digital and print, to maximize event visibility. Maintain and regularly update an event calendar to support consistent customer engagement.
Cultivate meaningful connections within the local community to attract diverse audiences and foster customer loyalty. Ensure that each event aligns with customer interests and strengthens the café’s identity as a social and cultural hub.
Oversee all event logistics including setup, execution, and breakdown. Coordinate with café staff to ensure seamless integration of service during events. Monitor crowd flow, ambiance, and guest satisfaction, resolving any issues promptly to deliver a safe and memorable experience.
Proven experience in event planning or hospitality/event management (preferably in cafés, restaurants, or similar environments).
