Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Data Testing Engineer to design, develop, and validate data pipelines using Python and .NET. You will build scalable testing frameworks, ensure data quality across UI, APIs, and backend systems, and deliver end-to-end validation for enterprise data platforms on Azure.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing with SQL, ETL tools, and API testing, with exposure to CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative, global Agile environment.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end data testing across enterprise data systems.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and execute engineering-grade data validation and automation frameworks using Python and .NET (C#).
• Build scalable and reusable data testing solutions leveraging SSIS-based frameworks to execute and validate report queries.
• Develop and maintain automated data quality checks across UI, APIs, and backend data pipelines ensuring high reliability and coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end data testing across enterprise data systems.
• Work on Azure-based cloud-native data platforms, validating ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and distributed data systems.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Testing with SQL and ETL tools (ADF, SSIS).
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) or Python for automation framework development.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL query optimization.
• Experience in designing automation frameworks (data-driven, modular frameworks) for large-scale data validation.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Azure DevOps.
