Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior ETL/Power BI Tester to join Global Delivery Services. You’ll work within EY’s globally connected teams, shaping high-quality analytics and data validation across ETL pipelines and dashboards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with client analytics teams, executing end-to-end test cycles, and ensuring robust defect management. Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in ETL and Power BI testing, proficiency in SQL, and agile QA experience.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of ETL testing experience with Power BI testing and basic automation testing.
• Strong SQL, data validation, and dashboard validation knowledge.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum QA processes and collaboration with analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans for ETL pipelines and dashboards.
• Design and execute test cases from source-to-target mappings across layers.
• Create and manage UAT test plans based on dashboards with client analytics teams.
• Execute end-to-end test cycles, track defects, and support iterative testing.
• Ensure clear communication across QA, engineering, and business teams.
• Make decisions on optimization, resource management, and task execution as needed.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery center. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

5 to 10 years of experience in ETL Testing/PowerBI Testing with basic expertise in Automation Testing.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and detailed test plans for ETL pipelines.
• Design and execute test cases based on source-to-target mapping documents across layers.
• Create and manage UAT test plans and test cases based on existing dashboards, in close collaboration with the client’s analytics team.
• Execute test cycles end-to-end, track defects, manage issue resolution, and support iterative testing cycles.
• Ensure clear communication, coordination, and status tracking across QA, engineering, and business teams.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.

• Databricks/Snowflake or Apache Spark (ETL Skillset) - Strong understanding of data migration, data quality, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work with large datasets, complex reporting structures, and high-volume test scenarios.
• Robot Framework (Automation Skillset)
• Python/Pyspark (ETL/Automation)
