Job summary

Thompsons Hr Consulting seeks a senior Platform Lead to drive Esker OCR and O2C automation in a regulated pharma setting. You will own platform governance, audit readiness, and complex SAP BTP/SAP SD/MM integrations while leading a hybrid team across multiple countries.

You will oversee the design of templates and workflows, manage backlogs and cutovers, and ensure data integrity, GxP and SOX compliance throughout global rollouts.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management and delivery experience in regulated pharma environments.
• 5+ years with Esker OCR/EOD implementations.
• Pharma domain know‑how: CSV, GxP, SOX, traceability.
• SAP BTP/MM/SD integration expertise and global rollout experience.

• Lead CSV lifecycle, audit readiness and compliance activities (GxP/SOX).

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of Esker OCR and O2C automation across a regulated pharma environment. Own platform governance, audit readiness, integrations (primarily SAP BTP/SAP SD/MM), and global template rollouts. Manage a hybrid team (internal + partner) while driving data integrity and compliance (GxP/SOX).

Key Responsibilities

1) Platform Ownership & Roadmap

• Lead and deliver the Esker OCR global roll out for Opella.
• Establish design authority for templates, workflows, and exception management.
• Prioritize backlog, manage releases, environments, and cutovers.
• Manage the Opella Project Management process and approvals.

2) Compliance, CSV & Audit Readiness (Pharma)

• Lead CSV lifecycle (URS/FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, deviations, change control)
• Ensure GxP, SOX, data integrity, and audit trails.
• Support audits and maintain validated state.

3) Solution Architecture & Integration

• Own OCR template design, workflow logic, exception queues.
• Oversee integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, MDM, security.

4) Delivery & Vendor Management

• Lead global rollouts across multicountry pharma entities.
• Manage SOWs, SLAs, vendors, QA gates, and UAT strategy.

5) Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Run L2/L3 support during hyper care, problem management, RCA, incident governance.
• Improve Straight Through Order Processing (STP), recognition accuracy, cycle times.

6) People Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead functional team and partner ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

• 810+ years in Project Management & Delivery, 5+ years in Esker OCR/EOD.
• Strong pharma experience: CSV, GxP, SOX, traceability.
• SAP BTP/MM/SD integration expertise.
• Proven global rollout and compliance delivery experience.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Sanofi and Opella project management & testing tools (Confluence, JIRA and X Ray)
• Esker certifications.
