The ERP Solution Consultant leads independently complex ERP solution delivery, proactively solves product issues, and contributes to architecture. In this role, you will guide product teams, champion accountability, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. You will solve complex problems, make independent product-level decisions, provide technical oversight, and report at the product or product line level. By bringing advanced ERP knowledge, in-depth expertise in key areas, and strong analytical skills, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement and team development.
Job Responsibilities Scope / (Content Leadership): Works and leads independently to deliver solution design and products with increased complexity (e.g., technical, scope, stakeholders) in the ERP area that meet product requirements and business priorities. Proactively identifies issues at the product level, proposes ideas on how to tackle them, and keeps applying a continuous improvement mindset. Documents and evolves the architecture throughout the product life cycle, and leads the development of approaches to be used across product teams/squads. Researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies while providing technical oversight and consultation.
Determines methods and procedures on assignments and coordinates or guides the activities of others in the team. Champions accountability by example (such as taking tech lead and/or product owner roles) and helps drive the successful completion of major programs or product milestones. Solves complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity, taking a new perspective on existing solutions and exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Independently makes decisions with impact at the squad/product level under limited direction.
Interacts within and across multiple product squads within a domain, working directly with all stakeholders in the Chapter and Domains. Communicates information, issues, and potential solutions to the product team or squad and to external stakeholders. Proactively communicates across project work-streams, taking responsibility for fostering teamwork, resolving confusion or miscommunication, and facilitating discussions.
Makes an impact that is typically limited to a product or initiatives in a section or cluster. Identifies opportunities and improves existing solutions to enhance value and business processes, providing technical oversight and guidance for the product teams.
Demonstrates the ability to plan, prioritize, and report status at the product (or even product line) level. Contributes to talent acquisition and capability development, for instance by screening CVs, interviewing candidates, and organizing trainings.
Applies advanced knowledge of ERP IT concepts and practices, possessing general and in-depth knowledge in one or two ERP and technology areas.
Demonstrated experience working and leading independently to deliver complex solution designs and products within the ERP area. Proven track record of driving the successful completion of major programs or product milestones, frequently functioning in a leadership, tech lead, or product owner role. Experience contributing to talent acquisition and capability development, including mentoring, interviewing, and organizing training.
Advanced knowledge of ERP IT concepts and practices, with general and in-depth knowledge in one or two specific ERP & technology areas. Extensive understanding of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis. Good knowledge of architecture practices, and the ability to document and evolve architecture throughout the product life cycle. Intermediate level of business process domain knowledge.
Technical Skills: SAP Batch Release Hub (BRH): Hands-on configuration experience with SAP Batch Release Hub for Life Sciences. SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform): Proven experience navigating BTP Cockpit, Cloud Foundry, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Extension Suite, Destination Service, and Identity Authentication Service (IAS). SAP HANA / S/4HANA: Strong background in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP-PI), and Core Data Services (CDS) views / HANA DB querying. Integration Expertise: Solid knowledge of OData, REST APIs, JSON/XML handling, and middleware integration patterns connecting SAP and non-SAP platforms (LIMS, MES, Veeva, Syncade). Domain & Compliance Knowledge Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Biotechnology sector. GxP & Regulatory Standard: In-depth understanding of GMP, Electronic Signatures (21 CFR Part 11), Audit Trails, and CSV frameworks. Education & Soft Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Certifications (Preferred): SAP Certified Development Associate (SAP BTP) or SAP Certified Integration Associate. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills to bridge technical delivery teams with quality business users.
Strong collaboration and inclusion mindset, capable of resolving conflicts at the team level and fostering effective teamwork across project work-streams. High level of self‑direction and initiative, with the ability and willingness to learn in a self‑directed fashion to stay informed on new technologies and concepts.
