Job summary

Crescendo Global is seeking an Equity Research Analyst in Pune with 3+ years of experience in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals. The role focuses on fundamental research, financial modelling, and equity valuation, with exposure to the US market.

You will conduct in-depth analysis, build models from scratch, and produce detailed research reports for investment decisions, while collaborating with internal teams to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equity research experience; 2+ years considered for strong candidates.
• Healthcare/Pharma sector exposure from Buy-Side or Sell-Side research.
• Hands-on experience building financial models from scratch.
• Expertise in equity valuation, including DCF and comps.
• Exposure to US or international equity markets; strong financial statement analysis.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fundamental research, financial modelling and equity valuation, with exposure to the US market. Buy-side and sell-side Equity Research professionals with strong Healthcare/Pharma experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

1. Conducting fundamental equity research on Healthcare and Pharma companies.
2. Building financial models from scratch, including forecasts and sensitivity analysis.
3. Performing equity valuation using DCF, comparable company analysis and other relevant methodologies.
4. Analysing company financials, business models, industry trends and competitive positioning.
5. Tracking earnings, business developments, industry trends and key investment catalysts.

Requirements

1. Having 3+ years of relevant experience in Equity Research; candidates with 2+ years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.
2. Having strong Healthcare/Pharma industry exposure through Buy-Side or Sell-Side Equity Research.
3. Demonstrating hands-on experience in building financial models from scratch.
4. Having strong expertise in equity valuation, including DCF and comparable company analysis.
5. Having exposure to US or international equity markets.Demonstrating strong financial statement analysis, research and analytical skills.
6. Holding a relevant qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
