Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst to conduct in-depth fundamental equity research on assigned sectors and build detailed financial models for valuation.

You will support the Fund Manager in portfolio construction and stock selection, perform industry and company analysis, and work with the investment team in a buy-side environment. Derivatives exposure may be required to enhance portfolio efficiency.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) or CA required.
• 2+ years of buy-side equity research experience.
• Strong understanding of equity markets and valuation methodologies.
• Hands-on exposure to derivatives preferred.
• Experience with long-only investment strategies preferred.

Role: Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the investment team in a buy-side to buy-side environment
• Assist in investment notes, presentations, and internal discussions
• Utilize derivatives for hedging/portfolio efficiency, as required by the strategy

Eligibility & Skill Requirements

• Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CA
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant buy-side equity research experience
• Strong understanding of equity markets and valuation methodologies
• Hands-on exposure to derivatives (preferrable)
• Experience working on long-only investment strategies preferred
