Job summary

A project management firm is seeking a qualified candidate for the position related to the establishment of a super-specialty cancer research centre in Mizoram. The role involves supporting medical equipment selection and procurement, contributing to design plans, and assisting in equipment installation. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering (Medical Electronics or Electronics) and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the medical sector, along with good English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Japanese ODA Loan Projects is an advantage.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support in Equipment Selection and Procurement:
  • Assist in selecting medical, educational, and furniture equipment based on clinical engineering knowledge
  • Prepare initial drafts of equipment lists for procurement
• Design and Planning Support:
  • Assist in developing basic design plans for medical, educational, and furniture equipment
  • Collaborate in drafting technical conditions for manufacturing, procurement, shipment, installation, and commissioning
• Specifications and Review:
  • Support in reviewing and refining equipment lists and preparing specifications
• Supervision and Coordination:
  • Monitor the progress of equipment installation work and assist in verifying the delivery process
  • Provide support during supplier‑led workshops and training sessions for MSSSCRC staff on equipment usage
• Reporting:
  • Contribute to preparing reports and deliverables under the guidance of the senior equipment planning expert
