Job summary

Globalprofessionals in India seeks an experienced ePPDS Technical Specialist for SAP Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). You will design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive PPDS training curriculum for planners and business users in SAP S/4HANA environments.

You will deliver end-user trainings, translate complex functionality into practical learning content, and collaborate with planners, IT, and project stakeholders to drive readiness and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in SAP supply chain planning, training, or functional consulting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ePPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA ePPDS implementations or projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a PPDS training curriculum, including instructor-led courses, e-learning modules, simulations, job aids, and documentation tailored for planners and business users.
• Deliver end-user training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions to enable effective use of ePPDS processes.
• Translate technical system functionality into clear, business-oriented learning content and hands-on exercises.
• Provide subject matter expertise in PPDS topics such as demand planning, production planning, detailed scheduling, and supply planning.
• Support SAP S/4HANA ePPDS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements by preparing users through readiness activities and targeted training.
• Collaborate with business planners, IT, and project stakeholders to assess learning needs and align training to business objectives.
• Conduct training needs analyses, evaluate training effectiveness via feedback, assessments, and adoption metrics, and iterate on programs to improve outcomes.
• Maintain training repositories, standard operating procedures, and process documentation; support the development of super users and local champions.
• Act as a liaison between business users and SAP functional teams to ensure training reflects real-world processes and system behavior.
