Position Summary

This candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Water and wastewater treatment plants including MEE plant. The plants will operate such that ZLD status is maintained, and all environmental compliances are met. In addition to that, He / she will assist EHS Manager to design and implement and sustained best EHS practices on shopfloor.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the Water Treatment plants and running effectively.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and CIP awareness.
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks of the equipment.
• Good understanding of non-IBR boiler operation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain logbooks of the plants and maintain water balancing.
• Ensure the water parameters are as per the PCB consent.
• Maintain inventory of water treatment chemicals for smooth operation.
• Identify and assess workplace hazards, develop and implement safety protocols
• Assist in developing and implementing EHS processes on the shop floor.
• Aware about PPE selection and implementation on the shop floor by managing optimum inventory.
• Provide guidance and support to all departments and promote safety culture.
• Design and deliver safety training to employees cover various aspects of EHS.

• Physically capable and willing to work in shifts.
• Should possess good English communication skills

Education Qualification & Experience required

• Diploma in Industrial Safety (from RLI, CLI) along with Full time Diploma or Degree in Environment Engineering or Science.
• Preferred experience of 3 -4 years working in a Manufacturing /Architectural hardware industry.
