Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Architect to define and drive end-to-end technology architecture for strategic initiatives in the Capital Markets and Financial Services domains. You will shape roadmaps, manage technical debt, and enable business transformation across complex enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen and stakeholder management, with expertise in cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Enterprise and Solution Architecture.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, API Integration, Event-Driven Systems.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Experience in Agile and Scaled Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state architecture and roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture solutions.
• Lead architecture design for strategic initiatives across multiple domains.
• Drive architectural decisions considering business outcomes, regulatory requirements, and commercial impacts.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts and design documentation.
• Provide technical leadership across the full technology lifecycle.
• Review solution designs for scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee architecture governance activities and design reviews.
• Guide engineering teams in implementation and problem resolution.
• Support production releases and the You Build It, You Run It model.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape domain roadmaps.
• Prioritize architecture activities based on business value.
• Identify dependencies across services and domains for successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Business Executives, Product Owners, Technology Leaders, and Delivery Teams.
• Translate business requirements into enterprise architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Define and maintain target-state architecture and technology roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
• Deliver scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing architecture solutions.
• Lead architecture design for strategic initiatives, epics, and features across multiple domains.
• Drive architectural decisions considering business outcomes, regulatory requirements, technology constraints, and commercial impacts.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts, impact assessments, and design documentation.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and direction across the full technology lifecycle.
• Review and validate solution designs for scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee architecture optimization, design reviews, walkthroughs, and governance activities.
• Guide engineering teams in solution implementation and problem resolution.
• Support production releases and the "You Build It, You Run It" operating model.

Roadmap & Portfolio Management

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape domain roadmaps.
• Manage technical debt reduction initiatives and legacy platform modernization.
• Prioritize architecture activities based on business value and strategic objectives.
• Identify dependencies across services and domains to ensure successful delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with Business Executives, Product Owners, Technology Leaders, and Delivery Teams.
• Influence business strategy through fact-based analysis and architecture recommendations.
• Facilitate decision-making among cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into enterprise architecture solutions.
