Job summary

Hetero is seeking an experienced English Trainer to design and deliver spoken and written English programs for employees and fresh graduates. The role involves assessing language proficiency, developing personalized learning plans, and boosting verbal and written communication across diverse backgrounds.

The trainer will conduct classroom, virtual, and blended sessions, updating materials and ensuring learner engagement with modern methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct Spoken English and Business Communication training sessions for employees, fresh graduates, and trainees.
• Assess participants' English language proficiency and identify development areas. Design and customize training modules, lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
• Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions. Improve participants' grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in speaking English.
• Conduct role-plays, group discussions, presentations, and interactive learning activities.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the L&D team to identify communication skill gaps.
• Maintain training records, attendance, reports, and learning documentation.
• Stay updated on modern training methodologies, learning technologies, and communication trends.

Bachelors or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field. Certification in English Language Training, or equivalent is an advantage. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Ability to engage learners from diverse educational and professional backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
