Job summary

Hilton in Lucknow is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of all hotel engineering functions and assets. You will guide the engineering team, supervise maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to uphold safety and service quality.

In this full-time role, you will manage daily tasks, stock control, and budget adherence while delivering reliable systems that support exceptional guest experiences. A background in hotel engineering and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing/Gas Fitter trade-qualified advantageous.
• Must have sound general Engineering knowledge and trade background.
• At least 5 years in a Service Technician position or similar position with working experience in a 5-star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility safety and compliance: Support the maintenance of the hotel's buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Supervise maintenance operations: Assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring thorough documentation of completed work in the property management system.
• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance
• Oversee contractor work: Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance
• Respond to service requests: Ensure maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations are addressed promptly and efficiently
• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance
• Equipment Maintenance & Efficiency: Repair and maintain all hotel systems and equipment, ensuring efficiency and informing management about deficiencies and stock control needs.
• Cost Management: Adhere to departmental operating expenses, evaluate products for reuse, monitor stock levels, and ensure the operation runs according to budgets and profit margins.
