Job summary

Biopharma Careers in Hyderabad seeks an Engineering Projects Senior Manager – Capital Equipment Analytics to lead development and delivery of equipment-focused analytics across global capital projects, from demand forecasting to delivery and reporting.

You will build centralized analytics within AIN, integrate equipment data with cost, schedule, and SAP, and drive standardized data models, dashboards (Power BI), and scalable tools to improve forecast accuracy and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Documented experience understanding equipment delivery across projects.
• Strong experience with data analytics tools and systems, including Power BI and SAP.
• Experience working with capital equipment, procurement, or supply chain data in a project environment.
• Experience supporting capital projects in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize one source of truth for equipment to serve as basis for optimizing equipment delivery and vendor outcome
• Look ahead for demand planning and supplier engagement
• Lead and scale the Capital Equipment Analytics function within AIN, delivering forecasting, tracking, and analytics services across global capital projects
• Cross functional partnership across the Engineering organization including ETA, GCPM, EHS, and GSS and Finance
• Develop and manage a team responsible for equipment demand forecasting, spend analysis, and lifecycle tracking (order → delivery → installation)
• Establish standardized data models, taxonomies, and processes for equipment analytics to ensure consistency and scalability
• Drive integration of equipment data with cost management, scheduling, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP)
• Deliver dashboards and reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI) that provide clear visibility into equipment spend, status, and risks
• Improve forecast accuracy, cost visibility, and decision-making through structured analytics and insights for proactive risk management and optimized delivery
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, digital tools, and advanced analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Drive adoption of analytics solutions across stakeholders by demonstrating value and ensuring usability

The Engineering Projects Senior Manager – Capital Equipment Analytics leads the development and delivery of equipment-focused analytics capabilities supporting global capital projects. This role is responsible for building and scaling centralized analytics capability within AIN, delivering data-driven insights across the full equipment lifecycle - from demand forecasting and procurement through delivery, installation, and reporting.

The role is accountable for leading a high-performing team and ensuring consistent, high-quality analytics that improve visibility into equipment demand, timing, and spend. By integrating equipment data with cost, schedule, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP), this role enables more accurate forecasting, stronger alignment to project plans, and improved decision-making across project teams.

With a strong focus on standardization and scalability, this role drives the development of data models, digital tools, and reporting solutions that enhance predictability, reduce risk, and improve delivery timelines. As part of the AIN Project Controls organization, this role partners closely with global project controls, procurement, and engineering teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement of equipment analytics capabilities.
