Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Product Manager for our Provider mobility portfolio in India.

You will drive the strategic roadmap through 5G-to-6G transitions, oversee lifecycles, and scale IoT and Edge AI initiatives while engaging executive collaborators to align Cisco’s capabilities with customer goals. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle for packet core and IoT, shape the roadmap, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes for service

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, pre‑sales, or engineering within the Service Provider Mobile core networks, IoT, or telecommunications domain.
• Experience with mobility technologies, network functions and standards such as 3GPP, LTE/4G, 5G, 5G-Advanced, and evolving 6G concepts.
• Proven track record in managing product lifecycle including new product creation, licensing, and feature roadmap execution.

Your Impact

Serve as a lead Engineering Product Manager for our Provider mobility business portfolio, you will be driving the strategic roadmap through 5G-to-6G transitions. You will oversee product lifecycles, scale IoT and Edge AI initiatives, and engage executive collaborators to align Cisco’s cross‑functional capabilities with the customer’s long‑term business goals

Strategic Product Leadership

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for packet core, IoT, and emerging technology architectures, including new product creation, roadmap, capacity, and software release planning.
• Drive technology evolution from current 5G deployments toward future 5G-Advanced and 6G-ready architectures.
• Identify and synthesize customer requirements, market opportunities, competitive landscape analysis and set priorities with outstanding transparency, to ensure efficient roadmap execution.

Business Growth and Portfolio Integration

• Identify and assemble growth opportunities beyond the core contract by developing value propositions in Edge AI, AI inferencing, and mobility infrastructure.
• Align cross-functional service provider business teams, and broader Cisco product organizations to deliver a unified service provider value proposition.
• Build data‑backed business cases that connect Cisco technology to measurable customer outcomes.

Executive Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior customer executives and internal leadership to build strategic positioning and communicate roadmap release plans.
• Navigate large, matrixed organizations to influence cross‑functional teams and align collaborators toward shared achievements.
• Operate with high autonomy to handle risks and navigate ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, pre‑sales, or engineering within the Service Provider Mobile core networks, IOT, or telecommunications domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with mobility technologies, network functions and standards, such as; 3GPP, LTE/4G, 5G, 5G-Advanced, and evolving 6G concepts.
• Proven track record in managing product lifecycle, including new product creation, commercial licensing, and feature roadmap execution.
• Experience supporting strategic customers and translating customer needs into product requirements and business outcomes.
• Strong experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to support strategic RFPs and present complex technical roadmaps to senior internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Cisco Packet Core network functions, IOT, SaaS offers and larg‑scale service provider software.
• Experience working with Tier-1Service Providers and Enterprises.
• Understanding of emerging technology areas such as AIOps, AI RAN, Edge AI, AI infrastructure
