Qualifications

• 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams.

Position Summary

Harness is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the charge in building the next generation of innovations in Pipeline. This isn't just another leadership role—it’s a unique opportunity to design and deliver impactful features that delight customers, drive ARR growth, and strengthen our leadership in the DevOps space.

In this role, you'll guide a distributed engineering team spanning multiple geographies, developing new capabilities on top of our platform. You'll collaborate closely with customers to address escalations, refine feature requirements, and make strategic product decisions that shape the evolution of our platform offering.

About The Role

• Proven Leader: 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams, balancing technical depth with people leadership.
• Builder’s Mindset: 8+ years building SaaS applications in backend (Java/Go) roles, with a passion for hands-on architecture and coding.
• Organization Builder: A track record of assembling and scaling world-class engineering orgs.
• Global Collaborator: Comfortable leading teams and working with customers across time zones.

• Battle-Tested: Strong command of managing production incidents and leading effective on-call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting, logging and Performance optimization in large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience in various Cloud Platforms or Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Technically Grounded: BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Work Location

• Bangalore. The successful candidate will be expected to be in the Bangalore office 2x/ week.
