Job summary

DAZN is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager in Hyderabad to lead backend teams building cloud-native SaaS platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, and deliver scalable microservices on AWS.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience, strongJava/Spring Boot expertise, and familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. You will partner with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years in people management or technical leadership roles.
• Experience building SaaS platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka).
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor backend and full-stack engineers to build scalable distributed systems on AWS.
• Drive architecture, design, and delivery of cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Good to Have
