Qualifications

• 12–15 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java 8+ and Python with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Micro-Service Architecture, principles & patterns.
• Expertise in API design for REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with middleware like Kafka, RabbitMQ; observability tools.
• Security measures, authentication/authorization with JWT/OAuth/TLS; CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab; Kubernetes/Docker exposure.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering

In This Role, You Will

• Design and implement highly scalable, fault tolerant and performant backend system
• Design and evolve microservice, event driven architecture
• Partner with Solution Architects, Product manager, other tech leads to translate business requirement into highly scalable systems
• Contribute to system and API Design, ensuring modularity, performance, maintainability
• Ensuring Coding Standards and drive best practices in coding, testing and documentation
• Mentor Junior engineer, conduct code review & provide technical leadership
• Practical experience consuming and integrating LLM frameworks/APIs (LangChain, Spring AI, or equivalent) to build AI and agentic features, with Java or Python as the primary language
• Proven experience helping build a product from a new product vision — turning early concepts into a scalable platform through sound architecture and strong engineering foundations

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• Should have 12 to 15 years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of Java 8+ / Python frame work, Spring / PythonFramework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Should have deep knowledge of Micro-Service Architecture, Principle & Patterns
• Should demonstrate in depth knowledge of Design Patterns and Principle to encourage reusability, maintainability
• Should have expert knowledge of Design and Development of APIs ( REST APIs , GraphQL APIs )
• Experience of both SQL & NoSQL Databases like Oracle, Postgress, MySQL, MonogDB, Casandara
• Experience of at least one of the middleware technologies like Kafka, IBM QUE or RabbitMQ and Exposure of APM Tools like AppDynamics, NewRelic & understand and drive Observability
• Should have exposure of implementing Security measures, Authentication and authorization using JWT, oAUTH, TLS and Should have exposure to DevOps tooling & implementing CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker
