Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bengaluru is seeking a software engineer to design and develop enterprise-grade applications focused on modern web security, RESTful APIs, and scalable infrastructure. You will work on systems that integrate cloud native offerings, off-the-shelf solutions, and custom products to serve clients globally.

The role requires translating requirements into robust technical solutions, collaborating with diverse technology teams, and ensuring high availability and security in production

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing, developing and testing enterprise level software applications with a focus on RESTful APIs.
• Strong programming skills in a complied language such as Java.
• Ability to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and possessing the interpersonal skills required to collaborate with colleagues across diverse technology teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of some or all of the following concepts: Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML
• Experience or interest in building mission critical and highly available systems
• Understanding or experience working with technologies such as AWS (or other Public Cloud), Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar language.
