Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Engineer (AISW) to design, develop and validate embedded and cloud edge software, collaborating with hardware and software teams to deliver high-performance ML solutions for Snapdragon platforms.

You will contribute to SNPE SDK deployment, enhance ML stack features, and ensure robust, power-efficient software across devices. Strong C/C++ and embedded skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; 1+ year of software engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

The team uses Qualcomm chips’ extensive heterogeneous computing capabilities to allow inference of trained neural networks on-device without a need for connection to the cloud. Our inference engine is designed to help developers run neural network models trained in a variety of frameworks on Snapdragon platforms at blazing speeds while still sipping the smallest amount of power. Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for the development and commercialization of ML solutions like Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine (SNPE) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs. You will be developing various SW features in our ML stack. You will be enabling AI/ML solutions to various platforms. You will have expert knowledge in deployment aspects of large software C/C++ dependency stacks using best practices. You will also have to keep up with the fast-paced development happening in the industry and academia to continuously enhance our solution from software engineering as well as machine learning standpoint.

Work Experience

• 3-7 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Live and breathe quality software development with excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong understanding about Processor architecture, system design fundamentals.
• Experience with embedded systems development or equivalent.
• Strong development skills in C and C++.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
• Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded system development.
• Experience in C, C++, OOPS and Design patterns.
• Experience in Linux kernel or driver development is a plus.
• Strong OS concepts.
