GE Renewable Energy Technologies Private Limited in India requires a Protection & Control engineer for SAS and conventional substations. You will design and implement protection schemes, specify IEDs, and coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, testing, site erection, and commissioning teams.
The role emphasizes delivering on-time, quality design documents, compliance with international codes, and collaboration with global teams to meet customer requirements.
To provide Protection & Control for SAS and conventional projects for any kind of electrical substations, as per customer specification / requirement and internal standards – To plan and execute basic & detailed design for all Automation & Protection applications involving switch-yard and generator circuits – Deliver quality on-time documentation for Procurement, Manufacturing, Testing, Site Erection and Commissioning – Support drafting schematics activity
Bachelor Degree in Engineering 2 to 3 years in B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical) or (Electrical & Electronics) Knowledge of Power System & Primary Equipment, Substation Automation, Communication Protocols etc. Product (Protection IEDs) Knowledge, Protection philosophy & concepts, Trip & Interlock Logics, Cubicle Manufacturing knowledge, Engineering calculations & Design tools
