Atlas Copco Pune India is seeking an Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Process Management to resolve engineering change requests and deliver high-quality drawings and BOMs. You will create retrofit kits, work on kits and spares for CTS service teams, and take ownership of projects until they are resolved.

The role sits in the Mechanical Design Team of CTS GECIA, with exposure to global teams and customers. It requires hands-on design proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor, with knowledge of Oil & Gas

Qualifications

• Proficient with Auto Cad (2D/Isometric) and Inventor 3D and 2D.
• Knowledge of Design Application skills, proven experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Knowledge of standards used in Oil, Gas and Process industries.
• Knowledge of servicing of Compressors and Vacuum pumps would be an added advantage.
• Project execution/management.

Responsabilités

• Resolve engineering change requests from field, purchasing, marketing and CTS teams worldwide with technical proposals.
• Create retro-fitment kits for changes such as motor/fan exchanges and spares as per country regulations.
• Work on kits and spares for CTS service team market supply.
• Create BOMs and prepare schematic drawings for engineering changes.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs/drawings for Atlas Copco compressors/vacuum pumps worldwide.
• Take ownership of projects/engineering calls until resolution.
• Finalize output drawings/layouts and ensure parts are designed per scope.
• Produce and check 3D assemblies and 2D drawings.
• Interact with project leaders and customers to present designs.

The Role

To resolve the engineering change requests from the field, purchasing, marketing and CTS teams worldwide and give the technical proposals.

• To create the retro-fitment kits for the proposed changes such as Motor exchange, Fan exchange, replacement of spares etc. as per changes in regulation for respective countries.
• To work on kits and spares creations for the various kits to be supplied in the market by CTS service team.
• To create the Bill of Material and prepare the schematic drawings of the proposal of the engineering changes.
• To ensure the timely delivery of the high-quality designs and drawings in the field of Compressors/Vacuum pump products manufactured at different divisions of Atlas Copco around the world.
• You will be working at the GECIA in the Mechanical Design Team of CTS and work independently on the following:
• To take ownership of projects/Engineering calls assigned to you till they are resolved.
• To work on finalizing the output drawings/ layout of the assigned project.
• To ensure and prepare design of the parts as per the scope requirement.
• Produce and check the 3D assembly and 2d drawings.
• You will handle projects/Engineering calls for design tasks and interact with project leaders and customers to present and discuss the proposed designs.
• You will report to the Team Leader – ME – Aftermarket Engineering - CTS GECIA.
