Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking engineers to work on the display subsystem for Snapdragon processors. Openings exist in DP/DSI drivers, color processing frameworks, and kernel drivers for Linux and Windows, with development on Android and Windows platforms.

Strong C/C++ programming, Linux kernel experience, DRM/kernel programming, and embedded debugging on ARM-based systems are valued. BE/ME in ECE/CS with 1–2 years of software experience; PhD welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, CS, or related field with software experience.
• 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience as per minimum qualifications.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Experience in DRM/Kernel programming and embedded debugging on ARM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work on display subsystem on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
• Openings in DP/DSI drivers, color processing frameworks, and kernel drivers for Linux and Windows.
• Develop for Android and Windows platforms; multisite design/development and customer/OEM support.

General Summary

B.E/M.E/M.Tech in ECE or computer science

Overall experience 1-10 years.

Strong in C/C++ programming with either Display Driver Exp / Linux Kernel Device Driver Experience

Additional - Multimedia drivers (camera/display/video) work experience is good to have not Mandatory.

Experience in DRM/ Kernel programming.

Good understanding of OS/embedded fundamentals.

Strong C language and Linux/Windows embedded programming

Embedded debugging experience (working with HW boards, JTAG based debugging etc.) is a plus

Experience working on ARM based systems is a plus.

Titles - Engineer / Senior Engineer / Senior Lead Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Role

To work on display sub system on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

There are openings in the sub-areas of DP/DSI drivers, color processing frameworks, and kernel drivers in both Linux and Windows. Looking for someone who is an adaptable and quick learner. The development will be on Android and Windows platforms. Responsible for multisite design/development and supporting customers/OEM.
