Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability of our FX trading platform and related services. You will define and maintain SLOs, build automation to scale, and collaborate with development teams to improve observability, release velocity, and cloud readiness.

You will participate in on-call rotations and incident reviews. Strong scripting, IaC, and experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and Kubernetes are required,

Qualifications

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, reliability, and operational excellence of our high- performance FX trading platform technology used by major financial institutions around the world.This role plays a key part in ensuring our trading systems remain robust, secure, scalable, and highly available. You will work across complex, mission critical environments and drive architectural enhancements that support the future of our platform.The ET platform is a highly configurable, component-based FX dealing system delivered as isolated client instances. It supports direct electronic trading via web interfaces, connectivity adaptors, and APIs. The platform integrates seamlessly with market rate providers, credit engines, and backend services to enable full straight through processing.**What You Will Do*** Own and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the systems you support.* Continuously measure and improve availability, and overall system health.* Develop automation to scale systems sustainably and prevent or mitigate service issues.* Partner with development teams to enhance reliability, observability, and release velocity.* Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post incident reviews, and root cause analysis.* Promote strong engineering practices to help build, deploy, and operate high performance services.* Act as a key enabler for Cloud migration, working with operations and engineering teams from project inception through to operational readiness.* Conduct architectural reviews, support operational acceptance testing, and configure Datadog dashboards and metrics.You will need to have experience of DevOps or operating highly available distributed systems, strong scripting and automation skills (Bash,Python,etc). Understanding of Linux and cloud environments.
