Job summary

Fortune Consultancy is seeking an embedded software engineer to lead development in an embedded systems environment, focusing on BSP and device drivers across Intel, PowerPC and ARM hardware.

You will code, test and debug BSP/U-Boot based software, respond to customer feedback with modifications, and help shape long-term technical strategies.

Candidates should have strong C/C++, Qt skills, RTOS knowledge and be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Board bring-up, BSP and device-driver development across Intel, PowerPC and ARM architectures.
• Proficient in C/C++, Qt; knowledge of RTOS, protocols and cross tool-chain development.
• Professional attitude with teamwork; exposure to embedded tools for development, debugging and verification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of Software development within an embedded systems environment.
• Code, develop and test BSP, U-Boot software systems or applications for enhancements on products.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Position Description:

• Responsible for all aspects of Software development within an embedded systems environment.
• Responsible for coding, developing and testing BSP, Uboot software systems or applications for software enhancements on new and existing products.
• You will be resolving customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements while contributing to long term technical strategies and architectures.

Preferred candidate profile

Embedded software engineer with rich experience in Board bring-up, BSP and device driver development in various hardware architectures like Intel, PowerPC, ARM. Knowledge on software development using C, C++, Qt and good in concepts like RTOS, communication protocols, Processor/Micro-controller Cross Tool-chain development etc.

Position Specific Skills:

• Professional attitude, working with collaboration / manning team, exposure to embedded tools including development, debugging and verification tools.
