Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a Professional Stress Engineer to perform static analyses, assess conformance with Airbus standards, and support concessions for primary/secondary structures. You will collaborate across Design, Manufacturing, Quality and other departments to develop robust solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in aerospace stress analysis, familiarity with FDT methods, and proficiency in FEM/FEA tools such as ISAMI, GFEM and DFEM.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in static stress analysis of aircraft structures.
• Experience handling concessions for aerospace components.
• Understanding of certification requirements and stress dossiers.
• Proficiency in FEM/FEA and stress analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft loads and material behavior.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to peers and support the development of stress engineers in the delegation process.
• Develop and maintain component and aircraft familiarity to ensure prompt response to production needs.

• Proficiency in Finite Element Methods (FEM/FEA) and stress analysis tools (e.g., ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM).
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads, and material behavior.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to develop towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation.
