Job summary

Saint-Gobain India Private Limited in Maharashtra is looking for a QA Manager responsible for managing quality assurance functions and ensuring compliance with technical specifications. The role involves coordinating product testing, handling customer audits, and maintaining essential documentation.

The ideal candidate will investigate nonconformance issues and implement corrective actions, track material rejection, and ensure product quality compliance through inspections. Strong knowledge of quality tools and engineering drawings is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA functions including planning, coordination, and supervision.
• Handle customer audits for system and product.
• Coordinate product testing processes and participate in product testing.
• Manage product and process documentation (PPAP, PFMEA, TC).
• Investigate causes of nonconformance and implement corrective actions.
• Track material rejection rates and recommend actions.
• Maintain deviation control for customer requirements.
• Read engineering drawings and inspect product compliance.

Job description

• Responsible for managing QA functions which includes planning, coordination, supervision and clearing general work activities required to assure that the in process and finished products confirms to technical and quality specification.
• Responsible for managing QA functions to assure that the in process and finished products confirms to the quality specifications.
• Responsible for handling customer audits for system and product.
• Coordinates product testing processes & participates in product testing.
• Responsible for handling product & Process documentation (PPAP, PFMEA,TC,CP, Awareness regarding APQP ).
• To investigate the cause of any nonconformance and its corrective / preventive action – including use of Quality tools (8D , 4M , pareto , fishbone dig.)
• Process Improvement - track the rejection of material throughout the process including OSM and action recommendation with help of production team
• Deviation Control (if required) considering internal & external customer's requirement & maintain the data for the same.
• Can read Engineering drawings and inspect product for compliance
