Job summary

Johnson Controls in Gurgaon, India, is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, configure, commission and troubleshoot building automation and control systems on customer sites. You will work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure project success and system performance.

The role requires an associate degree or diploma, 4+ years of experience with BMS/HVAC/control systems, and the ability to read technical drawings. Travel to customer sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and servicing of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, Fire & Security systems or related automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.
• willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Install complex field devices and control system components per project requirements.
• Perform system configuration, startup, testing, and commissioning using standard tools.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system, hardware, software and network issues.
• Respond to warranty service calls and provide timely resolutions.
• Verify system performance and assure compliance with project specs and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation related to installation, commissioning and service activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and customers on status and issues.
