John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to manage direct materials and subcontract procurement for our Bangalore operations. You will drive PO approvals, coordinate with Bangalore purchasing teams, build supplier relationships, and pursue cost savings through negotiation and best-practice tools.
The role requires a engineering background, 5 years overall purchasing/ supply chain experience, and strong data analysis skills with Excel.

Diploma or University Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
Experience:
5 years of overall experience with 3+ years of experience working within a purchasing/ supply chain department
Experience in technical specification and selection of vendors, including material and product knowledge.
