Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Software Developer in Bengaluru to design, build, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor. You will focus on delivering high-quality code, optimizing performance, and ensuring long-term maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 6–9 years of experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, SignalR, SQL Server, WSUS, and cloud exposure (Azure or AWS), and familiarity with ISO 13485/IEC 62304 standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 6–9 years of software development experience with C#, .NET, and Blazor.
• Strong SQL Server and database design knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and real-time communications.
• Exposure to medical device software development with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards.

Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will actively engage in comprehending software requirements thoroughly, ensuring end-to-end understanding, and delivering high quality code to fulfill these requirements. Your focus extends to optimizing system performance while prioritizing the long-term maintainability of the codebase.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and other relevant technologies.

• Expertise in developing UI side of implementation using Blazor.

• Implement end to end clinical feature for ImmunoDiagnostic IVD products.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on the expectations and deliver to the assignments on time with high quality.

• Apply Microsoft SQL Server for database design, optimization, and management.

• Integrate with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Windows Server environments.

• Apply CQRS design patterns to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Minimum Requirements or Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• 6-9 years of experience in software development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and related frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and database design principles.

• Experience on WebUI development with .NET, GIT

• Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, SignalR, and real-time communication protocols.

• Familiarity with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Windows Server environments.

• Implement security best practices and perform threat modeling to ensure the security of the software.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to medical device software development with ISO 13485 & IEC 62304 standards.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
