Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced SDET/Automation Engineer to join our Next Gen-SIEM data ingestion platform team. You will design testing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable testing across diverse data sources.

You will use Python or Go, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud services, applying AI-powered test generation and robust frameworks to deliver quality at scale. This role values autonomy, collaboration, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of programming experience as an SDET/Automation Engineer.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

About the Role

Get Data In (GDI) Integrations Platform team at Next Gen-SIEM is responsible for building the framework and platform for connectors development and running the connectors that ingest data from varieties of data sources. As a SDET member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team that builds and tests scalable frameworks, platforms and pipelines that ingest data at scale with quality.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement core testing infrastructure and frameworks that content development teams will build upon
• Create scalable and reusable testing solutions with clear APIs and documentation
• Develop CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
• Implement AI-powered test generation and optimization solutions
• Build monitoring, analytics, and reporting systems for test execution
• Establish testing standards and best practices
• Develop utilities and helper functions for common testing scenarios
• Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions for testing infrastructure

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of programming experience as an SDET/Automation Engineer
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, Python or Go
• Experience with at cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and framework architecture
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Self-motivated and independent worker
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Experience in Agile workflow methodology
• Experience building scalable testing frameworks
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
