Job summary

RTX India is seeking a methods development engineer for the Systems, Data Science & Methods team at the Bengaluru IEC. You will automate engineering workflows, validate methods, and document tools while collaborating with engine centers and design teams.

The role emphasizes learning current processes, applying standard work, and ownership of milestones with cross-functional stakeholders. Hybrid onsite presence in Bengaluru is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (with 4+ yr experience) or Advanced degree (with 2+ yr experience) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Basic understanding of structural design tools (Ansys, NX, Teamcenter, Hypermesh).
• Coding skills in Python, C, C++.
• Finite Element Modeling and Analysis (Static & Dynamics, Aero-thermal) experience.
• Good communication skills and working as a team player.
• Strong learner and provide creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, or update documentation of methods and tools

Pratt & Whitney is seeking methods development engineer in our Systems, Data science & Methods team at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru India. The role will span working with engine module centers and systems engineering teams to develop various tools & methods automation. Main responsibilities include automation of various engineering processes, their validation to improve on engineering workflows.
