Independently design and deliver software features and service solutions, producing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor AI, Claude, or equivalent solutions to improve development productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, and technical design reviews. Participate in technical analysis and effort estimation for assigned features and workstreams. Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, and product teams on solution design and implementation decisions. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practices. Utilize AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor AI, Claude, or equivalent solutions for technical documentation, design specifications, and engineering knowledge sharing.
2-4 years of Software Development experience with a track record of delivering production-quality solutions. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework. Good knowledge of application servers and web containers such as JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Basic knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery practices. Understanding of software design principles and distributed system concepts. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Knowledge of Python, Go, or other modern programming languages for automation, integration, data processing, or cloud-native development. Proficiency with any of GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor AI, or Claude for AI-assisted development and code quality improvement. Knowledge of airline technology systems, APIs, and how leading platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, and FLYR approach similar engineering challenges. Use of generative AI tools such as Windsurf and Copilot for technical design documentation, architecture decision records, and engineering productivity. Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
