GlobalLogic in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale stateful multi‑agent systems using LangGraph and modern LangChain ecosystems. You will develop asynchronous Python backends, craft robust APIs with FastAPI/Flask, and implement production-grade automation tools that enable agents to interact with databases, web services, and enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software engineering with asyncio and API design.
• LangGraph experience: graph states, reducers, conditional edges, parallel execution paths.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and modern APIs.
• Experience building tools for agent interaction with real-world data sources.
• Strong CI/CD, Docker, Git workflows, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Structured debugging of AI systems and evaluation of agent performance.

• Python Expertise: 4+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with deep knowledge of asynchronous Python (asyncio), design patterns, and robust API development (FastAPI, Flask).
• Production LangGraph Experience: Proven track record of building and deploying applications using LangGraph. You must thoroughly understand graph states, reducers, conditional edges, and how to manage parallel execution paths.
• Agentic Frameworks: Strong familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks and modern LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).
• Enterprise Automation: Experience building tools that let agents interact with the real world (e.g., function calling, SQL/NoSQL database interactions, vector databases like Pinecone/Chroma, and web-browsing environments).
• Software Engineering Fundamentals: Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, Git workflows, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Problem Solving: A structured approach to debugging non-deterministic AI systems and defining evaluation metrics for agent performance.

Job responsibilities
