The candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Aeronautical Engineering with strengths in flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and programming (C, MATLAB, Python, UNIX).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Flight dynamics knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in C, MATLAB, Python and UNIX.
• Experience with modeling and simulation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Integrate flight dynamics models and system models using Airbus methods and tools.
• Validate system and physics models on target simulation platforms.
• Study flight dynamics behaviour as aircraft physics and system models evolve.
• Contribute to validation plans to ensure comprehensive functional coverage.
• Support simulation platform end-users.

Job Description:

The activities include (but not limited to)

Aircraft models Integration on simulation platforms

Flight dynamics analysis to estimate the aircraft behaviour and motion

End to end validation of Aircraft simulation

A brief description of the activities is given below

• Integration of the flight dynamics models and the system models using Airbus standard methods & tools
• Validation of the system and physics models integrated on the target simulation platforms
• Study the flight dynamics behaviour due to the evolutions of the aircraft physics and the system models
• Contribute to the evolution of the validation plan to meet the expected functional perimeter coverage
• Support the simulation platform end-users

Education & Experience

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Aeronautical engineering or related disciplines

Required Technical Expertise:

• Flight mechanics
• Aerodynamics
• Knowledge on Modeling and Simulation (nice to have)
• Programming skills in C, MATLAB, Python, UNIX
