Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Bangalore is seeking a Design Evaluation Engineer to work on RF and signal processing CMOS designs. You will collaborate with design, test, software and marketing teams to move products from definition through release, performing verification and data-driven evaluation.

1–4 years in wireless transceivers or telecom, RF measurements, and lab equipment familiarity are required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for an on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering.
• 1–4 years’ experience in wireless transceiver or telecom industry.
• Knowledgeable in RF measurements and signal processing.
• Experience evaluating circuits using bench test equipment: spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Familiar with transceivers and sub-blocks (PLLs, Mixers, LNAs, ADCs/DACs, JESD).
• Knowledge of programming languages (LabVIEW, C#, Python, TestStand).
• Experience with ADS, Cadence simulation tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface as central resource with design, test, application, software and marketing teams.
• Coordinate data collection and hardware release with design, systems, software, applications.
• Develop verification and test plans; automate data collection.
• Perform lab analysis and evaluate new systems with multi-functional team.
• Characterize pre-release silicon across analog, digital, and firmware.
• Verification & release of embedded software for products.
• Translate silicon and ARM software from early development to production release.
• Develop and operate software verification test benches and RF characterization benches.
• Interact with field sales/applications and customers to resolve issues.

(Plls, Mixers, LNAs, ADCs\DACs, JESD)* Knowledge of programming languages.
