Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Bengaluru to work on gas turbine electrical systems and control panels. You will study SLDs and wiring diagrams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with global electrical standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong communication within engineering teams. Knowledge of COMOS and PLM, plus SAP and MS Office proficiency, is essential to collaborate across multi-disciplinary projects and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of gas turbines, P&ID, and KKS conventions.
• Familiar with SAP, PLM 2020 and MS Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication within engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Study and prepare SLDs, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and part lists.
• Analyze technical specifications for electrical and control devices.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for drawings and documents.
• Interact with system engineers to understand electrical and control components.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards (EN/IEC/NEC/ATEX).

Job Profile

• Knowledge in Gas/Steam turbine Electrical System components.
• Knowledge on Electrical Components of HV/LV and Control system panels.
• Knowledge on Control Cards and Field instruments.
• Experience in study/preparation of SLD’s, Circuit diagrams, Wiring Diagram, Part List and General arrangement.
• Experience in study of technical Specification of all Electrical and Control Devices.
• Good communication skills in interacting with Suppliers/vendors for Drawings & Documents.
• Co-ordinate and communicate with various system engineer to understand the electrical & control system components incorporated in Work process.
• Knowledge on Electrical standards (EN/IEC/NEC/ANSI/ATEX).
• Knowledge in PLM/SAP.
• Understanding of COMOS is required.
• Understanding of spare parts would be an advantage

Requirements to Perform the Job Duties

• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B. Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 yrs of exp
• Knowledge of Gas turbines working principles, P&ID drawings, KKS.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, PLM 2020, MS office.
• Good writing engineering communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within an engineering organization.
• Ability to understand and adapt to Customer needs
